• Provide individualized special education instruction and support to students based on their academic and developmental needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Manage and support an assigned caseload of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, parents, and related service providers.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and learning materials to meet individual student needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Provide appropriate classroom management and behavioral support.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related meetings as needed.
• Ensure instruction and services are provided in compliance with applicable state and federal special education requirements.

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education.
• Previous experience working with students in elementary or middle school settings preferred.
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Effective classroom management and instructional skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and support staff.
