Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated ASL Paraeducator or Interpreter to support a primary‑age student in an inclusive classroom setting. The ideal candidate will provide communication access, foster student independence, and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
We are seeking a dedicated ASL Paraeducator or Interpreter to support a primary‑age student in an inclusive classroom setting. The ideal candidate will provide communication access, foster student independence, and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily ASL interpretation and support for a primary‑age student.
- Assist with classroom instruction, activities, and peer interaction.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies.
- Support student engagement, social development, and academic participation.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Experience working with young children in educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
