EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students and classroom staff in Somerville, MA. The role involves assisting teachers, supporting students with their academic and classroom needs, and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and instruction.
- Provide individual and small-group support to students as needed.
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and classroom needs.
- Assist with classroom management and student engagement.
- Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous school, childcare, or student-support experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, dependable, and comfortable working with students.
- Ability to work full-time in a school setting.
