About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Second Grade Teacher to join an elementary school team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will create a positive classroom environment, deliver engaging instruction, and support the academic and social-emotional growth of students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons in core subjects.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Teaching License required.
- Master’s degree and/or Reading Endorsement preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary students.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
Compensation: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
