About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing support to a student in a school setting. The RN will provide direct care, monitor the student’s health and well-being, and collaborate with school staff and the student’s healthcare team to ensure a safe and supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to the assigned student.
- Monitor the student’s health and respond to medical needs as required.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as appropriate.
- Respond appropriately to changes in the student’s medical condition.
- Follow all applicable health, safety, and school protocols.
- Support the student’s ability to safely participate in the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Previous pediatric, school nursing, or 1:1 student support experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to student health needs.
- Compassionate, reliable, and student-focused approach.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
Compensation: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
